The Rev. Dr. Hilary J. Barrett is co-founder of Sabbath Time Ministries, together with Rev. Moser.


Hilary grew up in Berkeley, California where she developed an enduring love for the place where mountains and ocean meet.  Her lifelong love for story found expression in an undergraduate degree in World and Comparative Literature.  She holds graduate degrees from United Theological Seminary of the TwinCities (M. Div.) and Pacific School of Religion (D. Min).  Her Doctor of Ministry thesis was entitled, “Telling Stories: Narrative Approaches to Congregational Studies.”

For the past 18 years Hilary has served in settled pastorates and interim settings in Pennsylvania.

She currently serves as Senior Pastor of
Pleasantville United Church of Christ in Chalfont, Pennsylvania.

Rev. Moser is co-founder of Sabbath Time Ministries, an organization dedicated to the recovery of sabbath keeping as a counter cultural movement. Sabbath time ministries offers retreats and resources to pastors, churches, and corporations interested in exploring what the Fourth Commandment calls us to be about in the 21st century.

Daniel holds graduate degrees from the Divinity School of the University of Chicago and Princeton Theological Seminary. He has pastored family, pastoral, and program size churches in Pennsylvania for over thirty years. He became passionate about Sabbath keeping while pursuing studies as a Communitas Scholar at Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He is currently serving as Transitional Minister at Olivet Schwenkfelder United Church of Christ in Norristown, PA.

Rev Ryan W. Henderson is currently the “tech-guy” for Sabbath Time Ministries

 

Ryan was born of the edge of Walden woods in Concord, Massachusetts, and grew up in Glastonbury, Connecticut. He is the oldest son of a Pastoral counselor Father and an Artist/Therapist Mother.

 

Ryan completed his graduate studies at Bangor Theological Seminary (M Div) in Maine. Currently he is interested in trying to find ways to reclaim Sabbath in technology, virtual communities and online faith gathering.  Ryan blogs and leads Thursday night chapel service at http://i.ucc.org

 

He currently serves at Associate minister of St John's United Church of Christ in Lansdale, PA.
